Key qualifications:

• Valid school psychologist certification or eligibility to obtain it
• Experience conducting student assessments, evaluations, and interpreting results
• Solid understanding of special education guidelines, IEPs, and Response to Intervention (RTI) frameworks
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with teachers, administrators, and parents
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to provide crisis intervention and counseling services when necessary

Your responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments and behavioral observations
• Develop, implement, and monitor student intervention plans
• Contribute to the multidisciplinary team when creating and reviewing IEPs
• Provide individual and group counseling to students as appropriate
• Consult with staff and families to support student success
• Make data-driven recommendations for academic and behavioral interventions
• Assist in the development of strategies that foster a positive school climate and address mental health needs
