Located conveniently near Huntingtown and Prince Frederick, MD, youll take on a dynamic caseload, conducting evaluations and assessments for students in a collaborative educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Maryland
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings with students of varying age groups
- Strong background in evaluations, psychoeducational assessments, and reporting
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with educators, families, and administrators
- Organized, flexible, and committed to student well-being
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and academic assessments, writing detailed evaluation reports
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement support plans
- Provide direct and indirect services to students, including counseling, consultation, and intervention planning
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and offer recommendations
- Assist with crisis intervention and behavior management strategies
- Maintain accurate records and comply with district and state guidelines
Compensation for this role starts at $43 per hour. Caseloads offer variety, with placements in elementary, middle, or high school, tailored to your preferences and experience.
