What you bring:
- Valid certification as a School Psychologist, with active state licensure in Maryland or eligibility to obtain
- Proven experience, practicum, or internship in a school setting (elementary, middle, or high school)
- Deep understanding of educational testing tools and interpretation of psychological assessments
- Strong communication and rapport-building skills to partner effectively with students, staff, and families
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and prioritize tasks in a dynamic school environment
- Dedication to fostering inclusive, child-centered approaches and supporting individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent organizational, documentation, and problem-solving abilities
In this position, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for students across various grade levels
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
- Provide direct and consultative support to teachers, administrators, and parents regarding students social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Participate in team meetings, data reviews, and intervention planning
- Contribute to positive school climates and advocate for student mental health
