Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist (or eligibility in the state)
• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
• Experience conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations
• Strong understanding of Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
• Ability to develop and implement evidence-based interventions
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educators, administrators, and families
• Previous experience in a school setting highly preferred, but passionate new graduates are encouraged to apply

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform assessments to identify students needs, learning styles, and areas for development
• Interpret evaluation results and contribute to the creation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Work closely with teachers, counselors, and other professionals to deliver effective strategies and supports
• Conduct individual and group counseling as needed
• Offer crisis intervention and provide support for students and staff during challenging situations
• Participate in meetings, planning sessions, and professional development initiatives
• Advocate for student mental health and well-being within the school community
