Desired Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and providing counseling in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEPs, and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and community partners
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments to help identify students strengths and needs
- Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies that promote student success
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to offer expertise on behavioral, academic, and emotional issues
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver individual and group counseling sessions to address student concerns
- Collect and interpret data to inform decisions about student support services
- Contribute to a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
