This position involves managing an IEP caseload of approximately 26 students, ensuring they receive the specialized support they need. Youll conduct and support initial evaluations throughout the school year, collaborating with educators and families to develop effective intervention strategies and foster an inclusive learning environment. Required Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist license in Washington
- ESA Certification for WA State
- Experience working with IEPs and evaluation processes is highly desirable
- Ability to work effectively with elementary and junior high age groups
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct psychological services and facilitate IEP development and implementation for assigned students
- Conduct initial and ongoing evaluations, including cognitive, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to design and monitor individualized interventions
- Maintain documentation and adhere to compliance requirements
- Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to advocate for student success
