Job Description

A school is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services in an educational setting located in Holland, MI. This contract position offers the opportunity to support students academic, social, and emotional development through expert assessment and intervention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify students cognitive, behavioral, and emotional needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention plans
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to support student well-being
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and monitor student progress
  • Implement evidence-based strategies to promote a positive learning environment and address barriers to learning
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with applicable legal and ethical standards

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience conducting psychological assessments and developing intervention plans within a school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff and families
  • Ability to manage caseload and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations regarding special education and student services
