Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Previous experience in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged students, is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with current psychological assessment tools and methods.
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Masters or specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and psychoeducational assessments for elementary students.
- Collaborate with educators and staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling, interventions, and crisis support to students as needed.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and intervention strategies.
- Offer guidance and resources to families regarding student needs and available supports.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all relevant regulations.
