In this position, you will collaborate with educators, students, and families to foster a positive and supportive learning environment within an elementary school setting. Your expertise will help identify student needs, develop interventions, and support academic and social-emotional growth.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience working in K-5 or elementary school settings preferred
  • Knowledge of special education processes, evaluations, and MTSS/RTI
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and write comprehensive reports
  • Interpret assessment data to inform instruction and intervention
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to develop and monitor student support plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings and consult with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide short-term counseling and intervention support to students
  • Promote positive behavioral supports and social-emotional learning initiatives
