Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (state requirements apply)
- Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience with psychoeducational evaluation, counseling, and consultation
- Understanding of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and educators
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluate students for special education eligibility
- Design and implement evidence-based interventions for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and monitor student intervention plans
- Support the creation of positive learning environments and school safety initiatives
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
- Maintain detailed records and prepare clear, concise reports
