Job Description

Make a vital difference for students by providing medical leave coverage as a School Psychologist supporting K-12 learners for the upcoming school year. This contract opportunity runs from August 19 to October 16, 2026, and offers the chance to work with a dedicated education team. The assignment spans 37.5 hours per week with a focus on delivering high-impact assessment, consultation, and support services during a key transition period.

What Were Looking For:

  • Current, valid Ohio Psychologist license required
  • Demonstrated experience in school psychology, supporting K-12 students
  • Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling skills
  • Familiarity with special education processes, IEPs, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to quickly build rapport with students, staff, and families
  • Adaptable and ready to provide coverage with professionalism and empathy

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological and educational assessments for K-12 students
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement effective interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise in the identification and progress monitoring of students with special needs
  • Offer crisis intervention and counseling support as needed
