Envision making a difference as a School Psychologist in a supportive educational setting on a contract basis beginning August 10 through November 4. This position offers the opportunity to work with a single school site, focusing on students with mild to moderate disabilities, and allows for meaningful impact in students academic and emotional growth.
The role centers on serving a caseload capped at 45 students, providing direct counseling minutes, participating in evaluations, and collaborating closely with educators and families to foster student success. Youll find a welcoming environment that values teamwork, innovation, and your expertise.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist Endorsement required
- Experience or strong interest in working with mild to moderate disabilities
- Ability to provide direct counseling and intervention services
- Competence in administering and assisting with evaluations
- Commitment to collaborative problem-solving within an educational team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct services and counseling minutes to support student needs
- Conduct and assist with evaluations, analysis, and reporting
- Participate in multi-disciplinary teams to develop student support strategies
- Collaborate with staff and families for comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district expectations
Enjoy the focus and consistency of working in one school setting with a set schedule from 7:55 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. Leverage professional guidance, with all necessary district onboarding (including fingerprinting) handled efficiently to set you up for success from day one. Interviewing is remote and offers a quick decision process.
