Desired Qualifications:
- Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Prior experience conducting assessments, evaluations, and developing IEPs for elementary students
- Strong collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and culturally responsive support
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a student-centered approach
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments of elementary students
- Interpret assessment results to guide educational planning and IEP development
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student learning
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide recommendations
- Monitor student progress and implement interventions
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records
- Support crisis response and behavioral interventions as needed
- Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families
