Job Description

A full-time School Psychologist position is available to support two elementary schools in Henrico, VA. This role focuses on conducting psychological testing, leading eligibility and IEP meetings, and assisting with evaluations to ensure students receive appropriate educational services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students
  • Participate in eligibility determination meetings to identify student needs
  • Lead and support Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop tailored intervention plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations and meetings

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist License issued by the state of Virginia
  • Proven experience working in school settings providing psychological services
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws and evaluation protocols
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage caseloads across multiple schools effectively

Location and Hours:

  • Position is based onsite in Henrico, VA at two elementary schools
  • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
