Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Active state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
  • Previous school-based experience is strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of educational assessments, counseling approaches, and Response to Intervention (RTI) strategies
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, colleagues, and parents
  • Ability to manage multiple caseloads and adjust quickly to changing priorities
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment

Responsibilities:

  • Administer psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to tailor individualized educational plans (IEPs)
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to address students academic or behavioral concerns
  • Deliver direct counseling services and crisis intervention as needed, supporting emotional and social wellness
  • Guide intervention planning and collaborate on student support teams
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute expertise for student evaluations
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and adhere to school, district, and state regulatory standards
