In this contract position, youll play a key role in assessing students, recommending tailored interventions, and collaborating with educators and families to help every child thrive.
Desired Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in School Psychology
- Valid certification or license in School Psychology
- Experience conducting psychological assessments and writing reports
- Knowledge of multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and special education processes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to build rapport with students and staff alike
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological evaluations for students referred for assessment
- Interpret results and create actionable, student-centered recommendations
- Support development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Offer crisis intervention and counseling as needed
- Consult with teachers, families, and school staff to promote positive learning environments
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
- Help lead efforts in prevention, intervention, and program development
