Job Description

A position is available for a qualified School Psychologist to support the needs of students within a school setting in Hawley, MN. This contract role offers the opportunity to apply expertise in psychological assessments and intervention strategies that promote student success and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to identify student needs.
  • Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student learning and behavioral goals.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience with psychoeducational assessment tools and data interpretation.
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families.
  • Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and maintain confidentiality.
