A K-12 school in the Harvey, LA area is seeking four qualified School Psychologists for a contract position running from ASAP through May 22, 2026. This role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute directly to the educational and emotional well-being of students in a dynamic school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students across K-12 grade levels.
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Provide counseling and interventions to support student mental health and academic success.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to address student needs and promote a positive learning environment.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Louisiana Department of Education certification in School Psychology required.
• Experience working with children in K-12 educational settings preferred.
• Strong assessment, counseling, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively and work collaboratively with school teams.

Work Details:

• Contract position through the current school year (CSY).
• 35 hours per week (7 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch).
• Number of assigned schools and caseload to be determined.
• Located in the New Orleans, LA metropolitan area.
