Your primary focus will be working with preschool-aged children, providing essential psychological services to support their emotional, social, and academic growth. Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid and active Connecticut School Psychologist (CT PSYCH.) license
- Experience working with preschool or early childhood populations preferred
- Familiarity with standard school psychologist duties, including assessment, counseling, intervention, and IEP participation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a broad range of school psychologist services in a preschool setting
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students needs and develop intervention strategies
- Support and participate in IEP meetings and multi-disciplinary teams
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to foster a supportive learning environment
- Provide consultation and guidance to school staff and families regarding students emotional and behavioral needs
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
