Job Description

A K-12 educational institution in Harrodsburg, KY is seeking qualified School Psychologists for a contract position for the 2023-2024 school year. Both full-time and part-time candidates will be considered, with exact caseload details to be determined. This role involves supporting the mental health and learning needs of students from kindergarten through 12th grade within a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for a diverse student population
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling and intervention services to support student well-being and academic success
  • Consult with staff on behavioral management and effective classroom strategies
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with relevant regulations and confidentiality protocols

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Kentucky or eligibility to obtain it
  • Experience working with K-12 students in an educational environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and work independently in a fast-paced setting
