A licensed School Psychologist is sought for a school contract position serving students from Grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12. This role is located in Harrisburg, SD, and offers the opportunity to work collaboratively within a dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological services to students across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels.
- Conduct assessments, develop intervention strategies, and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
- Work closely with educators, administrators, and families to support student well-being and academic success.
- Manage caseload flexibly to meet the needs of the school community.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to foster a positive school environment.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a Master's Degree or higher in School Psychology or related field.
- Current licensure as a School Psychologist in South Dakota is required.
- Flexibility on caseload is essential to adapt to the schools needs.
- Experience working in South Dakota schools is a plus but not mandatory.
- Candidates who are interns with appropriate credentials will also be considered.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively within teams.
