Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active South Carolina School Psychologist license required
  • Previous experience in high school settings is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with psychological assessments, interventions, and special education processes
  • Knowledge of district and state requirements for school psychology practice
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly and provide support in a fast-paced school environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results for students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention to students as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop strategies that promote student well-being
  • Participate in meetings, case conferences, and professional development as required
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
