This contract opportunity covers two to three school sites, providing services to a manageable caseload of around 40-50 students. You'll have the flexibility to work onsite or remotely, ensuring that you can tailor your approach to best meet the needs of students and schools alike. The assignment is set to begin on August 24, 2026, and conclude on July 11, 2027, with a consistent 40-hour work week.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Virginia Psychologist credential (VA Psych) required
• Experience in schools, conducting diagnostic evaluations, and managing files and records
• Familiarity with intellectual, social, and emotional development assessments
• Strong communication skills for collaborative consultations
• Ability to manage a diverse student caseload and provide clear, actionable recommendations

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students intellectual, social, and emotional development
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop interventions
• Prepare and maintain accurate files and records in line with best practices
• Consult with school staff to address student needs and facilitate positive outcomes
