Key Qualifications:

• Valid and current Virginia School Psychologist credential (VA Psych required)
• Strong skills in assessment and interpretation of intellectual, emotional, and social development
• Experience in performing diagnostic evaluations in school settings
• Comfortable collaborating with staff, students, and families
• Commitment to maintaining detailed and confidential student records
• Able to travel between 2-3 assigned school sites as needed

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for referred students
• Assess and interpret students intellectual, social, and/or emotional development
• Provide expert consultation services to educators and families
• Prepare, update, and safeguard student files and pertinent documentation
• Support students across a variety of ages and disabilities, tailoring interventions as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in creating supportive learning environments
