Job Description

A contract opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support student mental health and learning in a school setting located in Hamilton, OH. This role is ideal for professionals dedicated to fostering a positive educational environment through assessment, intervention, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify students learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed
  • Utilize data and evidence-based practices to support student success and well-being
  • Assist in implementing school-wide initiatives that promote social-emotional learning and mental health awareness
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with relevant regulations and policies

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working within K-12 educational settings
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, special education law, and intervention strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively partner with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
