A dynamic contract opportunity awaits experienced School Psychologists prepared to make a meaningful impact serving students in a vibrant district near Hamilton, GA. This full-time, onsite role for the upcoming academic year involves collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support the mental health and educational progress of students. The assignment runs from early August, 2026 through late May, 2027, with potential for pre- and post-planning days. Candidates open to part-time schedules will also be considered, as the district values matching age group preference and skillset with placement.
Key Qualifications:
- Holds an active Georgia Educator Certificate in School Psychology
- Demonstrated experience providing psychological assessments, counseling, and intervention services in a school environment
- Skilled in creating individualized support plans in collaboration with staff and families
- Comfortable documenting daily services and maintaining detailed service logs
- Adaptable to a variable caseload, with placement based on experience and interview discussion
- Willing and able to work onsite (remote/VOCO applicants will not be considered)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret data for instructional planning
- Deliver direct counseling and intervention for students with diverse learning and behavioral needs
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to promote positive student outcomes
- Assist with crisis response, behavioral programming, and program evaluation
- Maintain accurate, timely records and daily documentation of services rendered
- Participate in IEP, eligibility, and staffing meetings as required
