Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students' academic, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions.
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation for students and staff.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to support student success.
- Maintain accurate records and progress documentation in accordance with school and district requirements.
- Advocate for students well-being and coordinate resources as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a school psychologist.
- Master's or specialist-level degree in school psychology from an accredited program.
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school-based setting preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organization skills.
- Ability to work effectively on a multidisciplinary team and build positive relationships with students, families, and staff.
- Knowledge of assessment tools, evidence-based interventions, and special education processes.
