Job Description

A school district in Grove City, OH is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to join their team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in educational psychology who are committed to supporting students' mental health and academic success.

Responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, collaborating with educators and families to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), providing counseling and intervention strategies, and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings. The School Psychologist will also monitor student progress, contribute to data collection and analysis for special education programs, and offer consultation to staff on behavioral and learning concerns.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid State certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience conducting psychological evaluations and interpreting assessment data
  • Knowledge of federal and state special education laws and regulations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration and counseling
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience in crisis intervention and behavioral support strategies is a plus
