Key Qualifications:
- Hold current licensure in South Dakota as a School Psychologist
- Masters degree or higher in Psychology, School Psychology, or a related field
- Experience working with students in grades K-12 (elementary, middle, and high school)
- Open to varying caseloads and students needs
- Will consider applications from qualified interns in school psychology programs
- Demonstrates a collaborative and communicative working style
- Previous experience or practicum in South Dakota educational settings is a strong advantage
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for students referred for psychological services
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create and implement intervention strategies
- Develop, monitor, and assess Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct and indirect support to students facing academic, behavioral, or emotional challenges
- Serve as a resource for school staff on mental health and learning issues
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support overall student well-being
- Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
