Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid state certification or ability to obtain licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, special education processes, and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in a school setting preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply
  • Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and advocating for student needs

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for students
  • Interpret data to determine eligibility and develop IEP recommendations
  • Provide counseling, behavioral interventions, and crisis management as needed
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding academic and behavioral strategies
  • Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) processes
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records and complete timely documentation
  • Facilitate professional development and parent education workshops when requested
