Desired Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctorate in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Current and valid state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
- Solid grasp of conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
- Experience developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and collaborative abilities
- Familiarity with legal and ethical guidelines for school-based practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Deliver crisis intervention and counseling services as required
- Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote positive educational outcomes
- Provide consultation on academic and behavioral interventions for students across grade levels
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress and recommend supports
