A full-time role is available for a School Psychologist in Gretna, LA, with an initial contract-to-hire opportunity. This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by supporting students' psychological and educational needs within a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to support student learning and development
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement intervention strategies
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to special education decisions
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state regulations and school policies
Qualifications:
- Valid Tennessee School Psychologist License (TN PSYCH License) required
