Qualifications and experience sought:

  • Must hold active School Psychologist licensure in Michigan
  • Previous experience as a School Psychologist in a school setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of child development, behavior management, and evidence-based practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative teamwork
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards
  • Passion for supporting diverse learners and advocating for student needs

Responsibilities in this role include:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret evaluation results
  • Develop and help implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to create supportive learning environments
  • Offer consultation and professional development to educational teams
  • Maintain thorough records and comply with state/school policies
