This contract opportunity is based onsite and offers a fulfilling environment for a School Psychologist who is passionate about special education evaluations and student advocacy.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters degree or higher in School Psychology
  • State of Michigan Department of Education approval as a School Psychologist
  • Demonstrated experience conducting special education assessments for diverse age groups
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams, families, and staff
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities to ensure timely compliance with evaluation protocols
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing caseloads and student needs as required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive special education evaluations for students from preschool through grade 12
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and district staff to identify and address student learning needs
  • Develop, maintain, and interpret assessment data to support educational planning and interventions
  • Provide expertise and recommendations that promote student achievement and well-being
  • Ensure strict adherence to all special education regulations and district-established timelines
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) planning
  • Adjust role responsibilities as needed to meet district priorities
