Step into a highly valued role supporting student success by providing expert school psychology services for a district near Greenville, MI. This contract assignment is for the 20262027 school year, with a flexible start date. Youll be working onsite for 21 hours each week, conducting special education evaluations for students from preschool through 4th gradewith potential to focus on grades 14, based on district needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold a Masters Degree (or equivalent) in School Psychology.
- Current approval from the Michigan Department of Education as a School Psychologist.
- Experience providing psychological assessments and services within a school setting.
- Strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and school staff.
- Detail-oriented and skilled at adhering to special education regulations and timelines.
Role Responsibilities:
- Administer comprehensive psychological evaluations for preschool and elementary-aged students.
- Engage with educators, families, and support teams to develop and implement strategies that meet diverse student needs.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal guidelines for special education evaluations.
- Provide professional insights and recommendations that contribute to students overall academic, emotional, and social development.
- Contribute to team meetings and documentation as required for case management.
