Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or closely related field
• Current or eligible School Psychologist certification
• Skilled in conducting psycho-educational assessments, interpreting data, and developing intervention plans
• Experience collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong knowledge of IEP process, special education law, and evidence-based intervention strategies
• Ability to communicate effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and varying needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and interpret psychological evaluations to determine student strengths, needs, and eligibility for special education services
• Develop and participate in individualized education plans (IEPs) and related meetings
• Provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and consultative services to support student well-being
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and outside agencies to design and implement academic and behavioral interventions
• Promote positive school environments and contribute expertise to initiatives around social-emotional learning
• Maintain meticulous records and ensure documentation aligns with compliance requirements
