Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience with special education processes, including assessments, IEP development, and progress monitoring
• Strong communication, consultation, and collaboration skills with both students and multidisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of social-emotional learning, developmental psychology, and positive behavioral interventions
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify students academic, social, and behavioral strengths and needs
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to determine eligibility for special education services
• Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies to support student learning and mental health
• Provide individual and group counseling for students to address emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to promote inclusive practices and positive school climate
• Offer crisis intervention and support as needed within the school community
• Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
