Job Description

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Current or eligible School Psychologist licensure/certification
  • Previous experience in a K-12 academic environment preferred
  • Strong skills in assessment, consultation, collaboration, and counseling
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Passion for supporting diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to evaluate students cognitive, academic, social, and emotional development
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop effective intervention strategies and individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver counseling and crisis intervention for students, including group and one-on-one support services
  • Assist with the implementation of positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS)
  • Provide consultation and resources to school staff related to student learning and mental health needs
  • Maintain accurate records and follow ethical and legal standards in all professional practices
