Job Description

A school district in Pittsfield, MA is seeking dedicated School Psychologists to join their team on a full-time, onsite contract basis. These positions involve working with students across K-12 grade levels, with multiple openings available to accommodate preferences in caseload focus.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
  • Provide counseling and support services to students to promote mental health and academic success.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to decision-making regarding student services.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district, state, and federal guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in the state.
  • Experience working with a diverse student population across K-12 grade levels.
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Commitment to onsite, school-based service delivery.
