Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state School Psychologist certification or the ability to obtain required credentials
  • Previous experience in conducting evaluations and reevaluations for K-12 students preferred
  • Strong understanding of educational practices, behavioral interventions, and special education regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for communication with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for initial and re-evaluations in accordance with state and federal guidelines
  • Collaborate with instructional staff and families to create and implement effective educational and behavioral interventions
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input regarding student supports and accommodations
  • Maintain accurate documentation and timely submission of required reports
  • Serve as a resource to staff and parents on child development, mental health, and learning differences
  • Support crisis intervention strategies and positive behavioral support initiatives within the school community
