Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Masters degree in School Psychology or closely related field
  • Valid Michigan School Psychologist licensure
  • Experience providing psychological services in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills
  • Effective communicator who thrives in a collaborative, cross-disciplinary team
  • Compassionate, flexible, and dedicated to promoting positive student outcomes

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to support student learning and behavioral needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver group and individual counseling to address emotional, social, and behavioral challenges
  • Consult with teachers, support staff, and parents to help create supportive learning environments
  • Provide crisis intervention and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Remain current with best practices and state/federal special education regulations
