Job Description

Make a difference in the lives of students by providing vital psychological support across elementary, middle, and high school settings in a welcoming school community near Grand Rapids, MI. In this contract role, you'll collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to promote students emotional, social, and academic success.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in School Psychology or closely related field
  • Valid Michigan School Psychologist licensure
  • Experience delivering psychological services in elementary, middle, and/or high school environments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration
  • Ability to interpret assessment data, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and provide crisis intervention
  • Dedication to fostering inclusive learning communities

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and participate in the multidisciplinary evaluation process
  • Develop intervention plans and collaborate on the implementation of IEPs for students
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to address students behavioral and learning needs
  • Provide individual and group counseling to support students mental wellness
  • Lead crisis response and prevention efforts as needed within the school community
  • Offer professional insights to help guide school-wide policies and practices to support student growth
