Job Description

A contract opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to support K-12 students within a large Texas school district. This full-time position offers the chance to provide crucial psychological services and evaluations to diverse student populations across multiple campuses.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations focused on Autism Spectrum Disorder (AU), Emotional Disturbance (ED), Other Health Impairments (OHI) including ADHD assessments
  • Deliver direct psychological services, Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Provide itinerant support across approximately five schools, primarily serving elementary students with some middle school cases
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to support students' academic, behavioral, and emotional needs

Qualifications:

  • Hold a current License Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Associate School Psychologist Credential issued by the Board of Examiners of Psychologists
  • Experience working with K-12 populations, preferably in a school psychologist role
  • Ability to manage caseload across multiple campuses while maintaining detailed documentation and compliance

Location & Schedule:
Based in Fort Worth, Texas, this on-site role requires full-time availability (35 hours per week, approx. 7 hours per day) from January through May. The position involves travel between assigned schools within the district.

This position offers a dynamic work environment focused on supporting students with specialized educational needs through evidence-based psychological assessment and intervention. The district is currently reviewing budgets for the remainder of the school year, with updates expected in early February.
