Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in School Psychology or related field required
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist licensure
- Experience working with elementary, middle, and high school populations preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
- Proficient in developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and conducting psychoeducational evaluations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess and identify students needs
- Develop and implement IEPs and behavioral intervention plans
- Provide individual and group counseling services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote academic and social-emotional success
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress
- Serve as an advocate for students, ensuring equitable access to educational support
- Engage in continuous professional development and remain current on best practices within school psychology
