Job Description
Step into a pivotal role supporting students growth as a full-time School Psychologist on a contract basis. Youll focus on conducting evaluations and re-evaluations across two school sites, working closely with staff to ensure each students needs are met in a collaborative educational environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Strong background in school psychology, testing, and psychoeducational assessments
- Proven experience conducting student evaluations and re-evaluations
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Familiarity with IEP development and participation in IEP meetings
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Experience at multiple school sites is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychological evaluations and re-evaluations for students, using standardized assessment tools
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to interpret evaluation results and develop actionable recommendations
- Contribute to eligibility determination for special education services
- Document findings and maintain confidential student records in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Consult with school staff to offer strategies that promote social, emotional, and academic success for students
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide insight on student needs and accommodations
- Split time efficiently between two school sites as required
