Make a real difference for PreK-8 students by providing essential psychological services on a flexible summer contract. This opportunity is designed for skilled School Psychologists interested in part-time workMonday through Thursday, 8:00 am12:00 pm. Youll support a single elementary campus, helping young learners thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Your primary focus will be assessments, consultations, and interventions for a diverse caseload, collaborating closely with educators and families. This contract offers the chance to step into an impactful role where your expertise helps shape positive educational outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience Needed:

• Valid and active Louisiana Department of Education (LA DOE) School Psychologist license
• Previous experience supporting students from PreK through 8th grade
• Strong knowledge of school-based psychological assessments and counseling techniques
• Proven ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative team environment
• Willingness to complete district background check and fingerprinting before the start date

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological and educational evaluations for PreK-8 students
• Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention, as needed
• Develop and implement individualized behavior and academic plans
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student achievement
• Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to district policies and ethical guidelines
