Advance your career in a supportive educational environment, working with students from PreK through 12th grade as a School Psychologist in Idaho Springs, CO. The role spans from ASAP through the end of the school year, with continuing opportunities into the 2026-2027 school year.
Youll enjoy a manageable caseload of around 35 students and benefit from a 4-day school week (MondayThursday), allowing for a healthy work-life balance. The position requires active collaboration with staff, families, and community resources to support the well-being and academic success of all learners.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado School Psychologist license required
- Licensure or eligibility with Colorado Department of Education as a School Social Worker or Mental Health Counselor preferred
- Experience working within PreK-12 educational settings
- Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide psychological assessments and direct support to PreK-12 students
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address students' academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Contribute to the development and review of IEPs, behavior intervention plans, and 504 Plans
- Facilitate small group and one-on-one counseling sessions
- Connect students and families with community and school-based mental health resources
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with state regulations
