Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Psychologist License required
- Previous experience working as a School Psychologist, preferably with early childhood or preschool populations
- Understanding of school-based psychological assessments, interventions, and ongoing progress monitoring
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with district and state requirements for school-based psychological services
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Your Role & Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and interpret results to inform individualized education planning for preschool students
- Provide recommendations and consult with teachers, administrators, and families to foster a supportive learning environment
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions tailored to the needs of young learners
- Participate in eligibility and team meetings, ensuring compliance with state and district standards
- Offer crisis intervention, social-emotional support, and staff education as needed
