Job Description

Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students from PreK through 5th grade across a vibrant local district. Two licensed school psychologists will collaborate to serve four elementary schools, splitting their time between two sites each. This full-time, onsite position (37.5 hours per week) allows you to develop positive relationships with students, staff, and families while working closely with a dedicated educational team through the full academic year, from August 2026 to May 2027.

Key Qualifications:

  • Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement required
  • Experience working with PreK-5th grade student populations preferred
  • Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and consultation
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
  • Provide direct and indirect support to students academic, social, and behavioral needs
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
  • Support district initiatives for social-emotional learning and school-wide mental health programs
  • Maintain detailed and timely documentation per professional and district standards

This contract role is fully onsite in a collaborative environment, allowing you to make a direct impact within a close-knit school community. Working alongside a fellow school psychologist, youll balance your time between two elementary schools, engaging with a diverse caseload and a supportive staff.
