Job Description

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Valid state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working within a preschool and K-8 educational setting preferred
  • Strong assessment and report-writing abilities
  • Excellent communication and consultation skills for working with teachers, parents, and students
  • Ability to develop and implement interventions for behavioral and academic needs
  • Familiarity with special education procedures and IEP processes

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological and academic assessments for students referred for evaluation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to interpret assessment data and develop recommendations
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to support student services planning
  • Provide individual and group counseling for students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
  • Consult with educators and families to deliver effective classroom strategies and interventions
  • Contribute to crisis intervention and participate in prevention initiatives on campus

Youll be working full-time, 40 hours per week, on a single, supportive campus in the Phoenix areagiving you the chance to develop meaningful connections with students and staff alike. This contract role is set to begin immediately and continues through the end of the academic year.
