In this crucial role, youll collaborate with district professionals to provide assessments, counseling, and tailored interventions to support student growth throughout the school year. This position is on-site and begins August 31, 2026, running through June 17, 2027, offering the chance to make a meaningful difference across multiple campuses within the region.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Master's or PhD in School Psychology
- Valid certification or state licensure to practice as a School Psychologist
- Ability to complete all credentialing requirements, including district background check, fingerprinting, and employment history review under House Bill 486
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and families
- Experience with comprehensive evaluations, behavioral interventions, and individualized student planning preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver psychoeducational assessments for students across assigned schools and age groups
- Provide individual and group counseling to foster student well-being and academic success
- Consult and collaborate with educators, administrators, and families on intervention strategies
- Support the implementation of positive behavioral supports and data-driven decision making
- Maintain thorough documentation and adherence to all district and legal guidelines
