Job Description
A full-time position for a licensed School Psychologist is available in Glen Allen, VA, serving two elementary schools. This contract role will focus primarily on testing, eligibility evaluations, and IEP meetings to support the educational needs of students in these school communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students at two elementary schools
- Participate in eligibility meetings to determine student qualifications for special education services
- Complete Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings in collaboration with educators and families
- Provide ongoing support related to student evaluations and intervention planning
- Maintain compliance with state and district regulations regarding special education processes
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist License for the state of Virginia
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and special education law
- Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff, families, and external providers
Location: Onsite at elementary schools in Glen Allen, VA
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Contract Duration: Current School Year (CSY)
