Job Description

Embark on a dynamic opportunity supporting students as a School Psychologist in a thriving Phoenix-area district. This full-time contract role will put your assessment and intervention skills to work across a variety of elementary and high school settings, with start and end dates aligned to the academic calendar (August 6, 2026 May 27, 2027). Assignments are available at multiple campuses, from Brenton and Guerro Elementary to Westwood High, with specific hours and school placements varying based on the districts needs.

You'll be working with caseloads averaging around 60 students, primarily using pen and paper for evaluationsapproximately 12 evaluations per daywhile collaborating within a digital environment that uses Google Suite and Synergy for documentation and communication. Success in this role calls for a proactive, self-driven professional ready to make an immediate impact.

Qualifications:

  • Current Arizona Department of Education School Psychologist Certification
  • Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Previous experience in an educational, school-based setting preferred
  • Familiarity with Google Suite and Synergy software is highly valued
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage time, priorities, and multiple assignments
  • Capable of adapting to diverse student populations and site schedules

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations using standardized procedures and tools
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and monitor student support plans
  • Provide consultative services to staff and families regarding students academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
  • Contribute to eligibility determinations and participate in IEP meetings
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation per district and state guidelines
