Key qualifications and desired experience:

• Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
• Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
• Demonstrated experience conducting psychoeducational assessments, behavior interventions, and counseling
• Strong communication and consultative skills for engaging with students, teachers, and parents
• Familiarity with IEP development and special education processes
• Ability to provide crisis intervention and support as needed
• Adaptability and professionalism in fast-paced, school-based settings

Primary responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate student needs and strengths
• Develop individualized educational and behavioral plans to support student growth
• Participate in eligibility meetings and contribute expert insight for IEP teams
• Deliver counseling and intervention services to students individually and in groups
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create safe, positive learning environments
• Provide guidance and consultation to staff and parents on student development and best practices
• Stay current on state and federal regulations governing special education and mental health supports
